The Lull

We still have over a year left to plan (translate: make happen) our wedding, but it seems we've hit a lull. We're too far out to do anything beyond what we've already done, despite the fact that this may very well be the last big chunk of "free" time I have left to make it all happen. As Steve would note, there's nothing really left to "plan" per se, being that I've had this wedding planned since 2.3 days after our engagement over two and a half years ago. And those plans were the refinement of the plan that I've had since I was 8. So... needless to say, it's all dreamed up at this point.

I think our next big step will be sitting down with our venue and talking real details, which we'll do probably over Labor Day weekend, bloody mary in hand. That's how the first meeting went last year!

Beyond that, we have our engagement session in November, and engagement announcement in the local papers after that.

I suppose I should start thinking about food? Maybe a cake? Who knows. Not me!

When and if anything changes, I'll be sure to update.
