Engaging our photographer...

... we just booked our engagement session for November first. I'm really excited about it, and Steve's agreed to my suggestions about haircuts, outfits, etc. I think we are both excited about where we are doing our shoot-- in and around Point Judith and Galilee, Narragansett. We worked together on the Frances Fleet bluefish boat out of Galilee for the first two summers we were together. Our first official date was chinese take out on the rocky beach next to the lighthouse, complete with sparkling apple cider and our dependable emergency blanket (give us a break, we were 15 and 17 respectively). And what do you know, almost five years after that first date, on a very very snowy, freezing, windy January (!) night, Steve dragged me out of the warmth of his truck to propose. 

After seeing more of Dave Bibeault's work (ie: Newport Nuptials' engagement photos! uh-may-zing!), I know I'm excited-- Steve was hooked when he learned that (1) Dave was a ParrotHead; (2) Dave is a devout Mac user; and (3) he liked Dave's work too (significant, I hear). 

Here's to hoping that it's not too cold, windy, or rainy in November... now I  need something to wear! 

On an unrelated note, I received my STD and invite samples from WeddingPaperDivas today... dreamy.
