Merry Christmas!

With the holiday almost a full 24 hours behind us, thought we'd wish everyone a merry Christmas.

Everyone loved their framed engagement photos as gifts. People were so amazed that they each got different ones-- I think people thought an engagement shoot was the old fashioned studio shoot with like three shots. When they ever found out that Dave presented us with like 100 or 150 shots, they were amazed.

And, with some wonderful wine in his system, Steve thought it appropriate to alert everyone to a discrepancy in this blog. He wants it to officially be known that he, in fact, DID have his groom-al party in order far before I had my bridal party in order. So, let it be decreed: Steve beat me on that. There ya go!

It was nice to look through Mom 'n Dad's collection of holiday cards. I came across that of a family whose son (a few years older that me and Steve) got married over the summer. Their card featured a lovely photo of the bride and groom, and it was nice to think that next year, Steve and I can send out cards together (finally!) with our wedding photo on it. And, when I was making Christmas cookies for my office cookie swap, I couldn't help but think "Gee, next year, I could be doing this with my Kitchen Aid stand mixer!!!!" with my fingers crossed, of course.

Merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy new year. Steve and I will be spending it together at my house in Bristol, with duck and champagne for dinner. Can't wait! Shortly thereafter, we're headed off to Bahia Honda Key, FL, to visit Mike and Emily, Steve's brother and sister-in-law. This will be the third time we've been, and it's such a wonderful, relaxing way to spend a week. Steve is super excited because he gets to use his new shoulder for the first time for his favorite hobby-- fishing!
See you on the other side, Kelly and Steve

PS: Never ever waste your time seeing the movie "Australia." FYI.
